Default non Ford but still nice find 4 me

I found these old JD mowers wile hunting, I always liked them so I bought them both! They are No.3s and I believe produced up to 1934. It doesnt take much to make me happy! just thought I would share Ken

Ken, this is a nice find. There isn't much of those old farm implements around anymore. A lot of it has been taken to the metal recyclers.

While hunting about 15yr's ago, I found an old shit spreader, it was really sunk into the ground, the only thing any good was that iron seat. I asked the old farmer about the seat, he said if you can get it off you can have it. I went back with a few tool, the only thing holding it was a big bolt about 5/8, I finly broke that bolt, I brought it home and sandblasted it and painted it, I mounted it on my back deck so I could set on it and lean against the house and pick my D-35 Martin. Reminds me when I was a kid on the farm. Walt

Walt I had to google "D - 35 Martin" to find out what one is.... I first thought it was some sort of vernacular for your nose. Guess you learn something everyday .

Coulda been the part of him attached to the iron seat !!!! I just remembered the dump hay rake also. That was the worst to ride of them all.
