Default Advice for seat removal

I purchased a 31 coupe a few weeks ago. It was a good driver til parked. Now it’s been sitting for a few years and my plan is just to get it running again, clean it up and enjoy it.
I want to remove the seat to clean and inspect whatever. Never had a coupe like this before and don’t know how to go about the task. Don’t want to ruin anything. Any advice how to best do this.

Oops on the picture. Sorry

Take the cushion out simply by lifting on the front and pulling it up and out. To remove the seat frame and backrest you have to determine if it is early 1931 or late 1931 as both seats are very different. When the cushion is out, if you have wood under the cushion it is early 1931. If metal under the cushion itís late 1931.

If early style, you will need to remove 12 slotted 12/24 machine screws, and the 4 bolts at the front around the seat adjuster. Also remove the upholstery flap behind the back top of the seat.

If late style, you will see 6 nuts under the cushion and two bolts holding the adjuster in the middle. Flap behind seat is the same.

Hope this helps.
