Default Speedway 35/36 cabriolet windshield frame

Seems like speedway are the only vendor with a 35/36 cabriolet and convertible sedan windshield frame still available. Anybody have any experience with this product? Is it correct sizing and shape and ready for chrome? Thanks Dan.

I can’t comment directly on that Cabriolet frame but I can relate my experience. I bought a frame for my ‘32 5 window from Speedway and the fit was perfect. Jay Oberg was the man behind Mr. Roadster and in the 1970’s he somehow acquired the original tooling that Ford had windshield frames made on. Eventually Oberg sold the Mr. Roadster line to Bill Smith of Speedway but whether or not that tooling still exists is the unknown.

I talked to Tom Trautwein this morning. He is open for business and making frames.

Has Tom got a website to order from or will he be supplying vendors only? Maybe an email address and I’ll send them an email to get a price?
