Default 1930 Roadster spare mount

Hi all. Can anyone tell me what goes into the large hole in the rear spare mount?
Thanks.

The "D" nut in the bracket is probably missing. The "D" nut is on the top of the bracket. I had to install a D nut on one of my rear spare tire brackets. D nuts can be purchased at most model A suppliers.

Upper bolt goes thru the small upright support which is part of the lower panel assembly
The lower rear sill has two large d-nuts as eluded already

The upper bolt goes from inside to the spare bracket using the path Oldbluoval said.
