1930 Roadster spare mount
Hi all. Can anyone tell me what goes into the large hole in the rear spare mount?
Thanks. |

Re: 1930 Roadster spare mount
The "D" nut in the bracket is probably missing. The "D" nut is on the top of the bracket. I had to install a D nut on one of my rear spare tire brackets. D nuts can be purchased at most model A suppliers.

Re: 1930 Roadster spare mount
Upper bolt goes thru the small upright support which is part of the lower panel assembly
The lower rear sill has two large d-nuts as eluded already |

The upper bolt goes from inside to the spare bracket using the path Oldbluoval said.
