Default Restoring the EARLY 1928 Headlight Socket Assemblies

Has anyone ever attemped to restore the EARLY 1928 Headlight Socket Assemblies?

These are a different animal than the later ones.

If not...How well are the repros for use in EARLY 1928 Headlamp assemblies?

Thanks.

Steve : (whatever happened to the onion give away ??)

Moving on................Not sure if you're going for fine point or not, but with all the problems with the repro parts I'd do it another way inside the buckets. FWIW

Paul,

I got out of the farming business about 6 years ago...have not grown GWWSO's for at least 13 or so.

Hopefully I can find some originals. I got some repros about 8 yeas ago for my February 1929 Tudor (Single bulb) and those are very nicely done. Can not remember where I got them from.
