Where could one find a spring to fit inside my radiator hose?

Re: radiator hose spring
You shouldn't really need one. Maybe you need a new hose.

Re: radiator hose spring
I made one for my lower hose that had to make a bend sharp enough that the hose wanted to kink. I use some 5/32 wire that I wrapped around a 1 1/4 bar, and turned slowly in a lathe until I was sure I had enough distance for the hose.

Re: radiator hose spring
Years ago my 40 Ford was running hot at high speed RPM. Setting in my drive and revving the engine, I noticed the lower radiator hose was sucking together. My son inlaw works in a big ship yard and he made me a couple of stainless springs to put on my lower hose. Cooled the engine right down at high rpm. Walt
