Seat riser here also and the switch breaks the ground not the hot side.

according to Ron Francis put the battery disconnect on the positive wire if you have any electronics in the circuit I guess like a C.B. or inverter,they could be damaged if you have a failure in a ground.page #104 Ron Francis catalog.

Mine is on seat riser on ground cable. I have 12v neg. ground.
