Default Front Seats '31 Tudor

Looking to rebuild or replace the front seats in my '31 Tudor.
My back doesn't tolerate long tours anymore.
So...........
Can the stock seats be modified for additional lumbar support, perhaps air bladders, additional foam?
Or should I look for aftermarket seats (Honda Civic, etc.) and have them reupholstered with mohair.
What is available?
Your thoughts.

you might be better off putting a modern type of seat in the car... i would think it could be done fairly easy
what good is it if you can operate the car in comfort...
DAD put swivel bar seats in his car to mount and dismount more easily. Buster T likes them also

I replaced my Tudor seats with some fabric buckets from a mid-90s Grand Am. They were the right width to fit in place. I made an adapter bar that would fit on the Model A seat mounts and then I just bolted the new seats to the adapter bar. The new seats flipped forward for rear seat access just like the originals. I also had to make leg extenders for the rear legs of the new seats so the seat would sit at the proper angle.

I used some seats out of a mid 90's Dakota pickup and had to make some new mounting brackets, which was simple so that they could go in and out with ease. I chose them because they matched the color of my interior. Sorry I have no pictures.

Thanks all for the feedback.
While a highback seat would be great, just doesn't look right.
Couple of swap meets coming up, see what is out there in the OEM arena.

I'm also looking at the ProCar Lowback seat sold through Summit Racing.
My thought is to have whichever seat reupholstered in Mohair, plus add in adjustable lumbar supports.
Access to the rear seat through seat tilt is required.
Looks like I have another winter project.
Thanks
Ken

Perhaps it was my car you refer to. I used '99 Malibu seats. The backs are not very high back. We removed the head rests and put doilies on the top to cover the holes. This was 4 years ago. I didn't need to do anything to the upholstery but clean it. It allowed me to continue driving the car. But alas, my arthritis has gotten bad enough that I have it for sale now. The neck just can't tolerate driving the "A" anymore. Another point, the vast majority of people who look at the car have no idea they are not stock.

Those are great looking seats for being non stock.
That would be my first choice if a change was in the works.
