Default Towed another one home today

31 Coupe ,in the same Family for 54 years. I beat the Bushes and this fell out. Owner was scared her husband was going to rod the car, his buddies also had those same plans. When her and I spoke she knew she had found the right person to by her car. Was suppose to be a original never been apart car, ended up being a all out older restoration! Price...less then the cost of a good zero turn lawn mower.
I'm going to service her and clean the windows and that's it...Drive it like it is. Not going to wash it!

Nice. It pays to beat the bushes doesn't it. I don't know what your zero turns are going for, but, it looks like 'ya done good'.

Nice. That interior sure looks good and comfortable. I never washed my Phaeton and was going to leave all the years of dust on it, but it would have made my clothes get too dirty, so I finally wiped it down with an old oily rag to clean it.

Great find!

Exactly what kind of stick do you use to beat those bushes? Whatever it is, it sure seems effective!

Dog,

My definition of a crap-rodder is: an idiot that takes a nice "A" like the one Wick just got. And proceeds to strip, torch-axe, and generally ruin
a nice old car. Because they have some stupid notion of building a supposedly cool
looking rat-rod or as I call it a crap-rod! I'm not to fond of hot-rods either, but I can appreciate the time, talent and $$ that is put into the car, IF it is owner built! If I've offended anybody, to bad!

ctvpa really said it best!

I guess that you guys missed it. What Wick said was "I beat the Bushes and this fell out." So after he beat up some lady by the name Bush this Model A fell out.

Thank you for saving it.
And the spirit of all the past caretakers, who loved having their time with it, they thank you also.

Nice job there Wick. You have a keen eye, a useable trailer and a flexible wallet. Nice work!

She even gave me some old pictures of the car and will try and find out the history before 1960 for me.
I'm not use to picking up cars without rust....but I still had to push it up on the trailer!

That's a great car!

Paint the wheels black, paint the whitewalls black and turn 'em around, get a black Y.O.M. plate, and you've got a car with an attitude!
