Default Just a head up, the Ford Model T Club of America..

In case you have not seen it. I know many are members of several different car forums and just want to let people know that Monday Jan 7th the Ford Model T Club of America is starting a new year with an updated host for the online forums. The old host was no longer supported. Here is a link to the announcement;

When I was the webmaster for the MTFCI many years ago, we had to switch for similar reasons and lost almost all of our forum users to the MTFCA. I guess that won't happen to the MTFCA since the MTFCI dropped their forum some years ago.

Yes and the last time when it was fully ended, everything was lost Chris is keeping the old forums up for as long as he can. Someone suggested if they had to be removed to put them on disk. There was in the MTFCI case and would be in the MTFCA if everything shut down in regards to the old forums, a great loss of information from current people and those that are no longer with us.

The new Forum design is a welcome change. Far from cutting edge, but very easy to navigate after a short learning curve. It is now the same host as the AA-Ford forum. The only issue I had was that I could not post pictures until I changed from JPEG to GIF. After that I have had no problems.

God Bless
Bill

The avitar was a bit of a problem as it had to be re-sized however posting pics in topics is a snap as it re-sizes itself apparently.

I like it. It is easy to use and has some nice features. The old format was fine for me and I wasn't looking forward to change but is has worked out well in my opinion.

Bob,

Go to the first thread in the 2019 forum called "New forum Links" & try it from one of those links Chris listed. That worked for me!

God Bless
Bill

The only problem I had was putting the new forum in my favorites and removing the old one.
It was easy once I figured it out.
