I remember having a customer come in with an early Falcon with a stick, complaining that there was a problem, because every time she let out the clutch the engine died. Well, she had a chevy 6 before, and they had a lot of torque, and of course the little 144 had to be reved to have any torque. After I showed her how to rev it and slip the clutch she managed ok.
