Default which heads to use

motor is a 276 8BA using an Isky 77-B cam. Customer wants stock heads and I have a choice of the following 5 sets of heads. Which would be the best to use. 8BA, EAC, 1CM, 8CM and 8RT Car is a 31 Ford 5 window coupe. Thanks Bill

Too bad you don't have the choice of EAB's, probably the best choice of the bunch compression wise. The ones you mention are all pretty close to being equal.

1CM have the lowest compression of the lot. The 9Ba milled for .050" is nesxt best, OR depending on his radiator a set of 81A. Reguardless of the head used close up the piston to head clearance.

heads need to be milled a bit so will see how they fit when the pistons are installed.
