Default Potter Trunk Information Needed

Hello All, I looked at a Potter Trunk yesterday that is for sale. The seller said this trunk will fit '35/'36 slant back sedans. It appears to be all there but everything has been taken apart and most items painted in primer. I would love to have something like this to use for long distance touring trips but would not want it on my car permanently. Also, I could not bring myself to cut/drill holes through the back of any of my slant back '35's to mount this. If you know anything about these trunks and would care to post info here or pm/email me, that would be appreciated.

I am wondering things like.....

1. Could they somehow be safely and effectively mounted w/o drilling holes through to back of the car?
2. Are these trunks rare? Valuable?
3. What is a ball park price range that these trunks normally sell for based on what you can tell from the pictures attached.
4. Does anyone have any manufacturers literature and/or assembly instructions for this model trunk? If so would you be able and willing to post, email, or snail mail me copies?

I need to move rather quickly on this or it will probably be sold to someone else.

Thanks in advance for any help.

John could you get one of those accesory racks that fit on the mack that fold down & use leather straps to hold it on with ? I think it would look great either way !\
Cheers

Unfortunately this is not a potter trunk. I have one of these but can't recall the name. I have the info on it at my shop. You have to be particularly careful about the mounting hardware. I can't tell from your pics if the hardware is correct for a '35.

Somewhere I have copies of the original info on these... I dont remember where I put them The brand copies I have the name started with a D but cant remember the name.. As Dennis said Definately NOT a potters.. I saw a 36 slantback in Texas earlier this year with a very similar trunk attached, but it didn't line up very well to the body line... Who knows though!?!?

Based on the information and pictures that have been emailed to me, this is a Keri-Keen Trunk, not a Potter Trunk.

Dennis and Mike, I would really appreciate getting a copy of any literature you may have on this trunk.
Thank you
