Default 33 running boards

I have a set of what I thought were original, slightly rusty running boards for a 33 - 34. The rubber covering was mostly gone and I scrapped the remaining old hard dried up stuff off.
The pictures I found of other original ones had a series of holes punched in them for covering to grip on, I suppose. Mine don't have any holes, though.
Are mine originals or did some have the holes and some not, or what?
I know the covers they sell now are glue on and I wouldn't need the holes but I would like to be sure these are original Ford boards.
Any ideas? Thanks
Jim S.

Definitely Argentine repops. The metal is also thinner than the originals.

I don't think they are the Argentine ones - for one thing they seem too old, and they fit right. The ones I have on my car now are Argentine repops that I had bought back in the 1970's. They don't have the right curves to fit.
These fit better, but they need a little welding and re-covering. It seems odd that they don't have the holes that I've seen in other originals though.

It would be a first for me if they were original. The holes served an important purpose in the original vulcanization process.

Please post a pic if you can so we don't keep guessing.
