CCPU Rear Window
Were the original rear windows on a '27, '28, and '29 CCPU the same size or different dimensions? If not, what are their respective sizes?
Thanks for the education in advance. |

Re: CCPU Rear Window
All the same. See http://jmodela.coffeecup.com/glass/glass_lg.jpg upper RH corner.
The drawing does not differentiate between the "high window" version of the CCPU or the "centered window" version. And keep in mind the "AA" designation was how Ford in this drawing referred to any commercial vehicles. The same cabs were used both on the "A" and the "AA" version. Joe K

Actually, the 82-A closed cab began as an AA cab only. The linked service bulletin is May 1928 (when the 82-A was only an AA cab). The rear window glass dimensions is for the high rear window cab. The glass corners need to be changed slightly for the lower rear window cab. I have not see glass dimensions for the lower rear window cab. The 82-A became available on the A chassis June 4, 1928 (see A-1 RGJS).
