Re: New products thread??
I make the L bolts on the lathe and then mill the flats on them, takes a while , but after reaming the holes oversize to get the t/tube bell concentric this is needed.

Re: New products thread??
The pictures V8COOPMAN showed are from our website......this link shows the entire webpage:
http://www.vanpeltsales.com/FH_web/f...rearmounts.htm We’re happy to place the pictures up there for everybody’s free access but if they’re to be copied for reposting, we’d appreciate the credit to our site for the source. Those special bolts can be reproduced by anyone but there’s a fair amount of work to create them. We often have spares of them in our used parts stock but we are occasionally sold out til we accumulate more from transmission cores that we buy.

Re: New products thread??
I echo what V8Coopman said in post #7. A thread of new parts available would be of great value. The thread should also include not-so-new but not-widely-advertised parts by small-volume producers like Bill Monzo, tubman, etc. The challenge is to keep the thread relatively "clean" with a focus on part descriptions, experiences and contact points. Already we see a bit of a problem with this thread which has an extended discussion about a single part which it seems is not actually available. Perhaps it should be discussed in a separate thread.

Mac VP....First of all, my most-sincere apologies for the oversight! I try to make it a priority to acknowledge ANYONE's material that I reference or make use of. Please click on the link below and check out Post #22. https://www.fordbarn.com/forum/showt...81#post1828881 It's obvious that as recently as five days ago, I acknowledged MacVP for yet another of your valuable reference materials that I referenced. There is little argument that YOUR site is "THE" premier information and reference site when dealing with our early V8 Fords on the internet today. I can't begin to thank you enough for the time, sweat and effort that I know you've invested in that site. I'm sure that most of us here feel pretty much the same. Thank you again for what you do!
