C'mon Ken, I'll race you, (me in the '39 and you in the '40 Convertible), on some of those back country roads... LOL See you and Barb in Dawsonville. Have a safe trip. Vic

Had a little glitch with a brake light switch. Swapped it out this morning and on the road. Mike, Cliff and I met Steve out on the road and we are headed north. Looking forward to seeing you guys.

We arrived at Dehlonega at noon today. Chuck L arrived at 4:00 pm. We may ride to Dawsonville and see if anything is happening there. I had a starter jam up on my 35 when we got to the hotel. Had to remove the field case and move and twist the armature to get it unlocked but otherwise this car did not miss a beat on the 700 mile trip from Maryland. Put everything back together and we are good to go...until maybe the next time

It's 6:00pm, (do you know where your Flatheads are?) we just checked in at the Hampton Inn just off exit 11 on the 400 highway. If anyone reading this is here for the Moonshine Festival give me a call (you should have my cell phone#). We'll see everyone that is going on the "Don't Follow Me, I'm Lost Tour" tomorrow at 8:00 am at Thunder Road.

Tony, that's a great offer and it would be most appreciated if you would. I thought I might look around the swap meet to see if I could find a backup to have for down here and on the way home but with my luck there would not be a single one to be found. This was about the only spare part I did not bring, so of course that was a bad omen. What you bring is usually never needed. This starter has locked up on the flywheel several time before but never as bad as this time. Could always get it to release by tapping it or rocking the car back an forth with transmission in gear.
