I haven't seen a posting by Old Henry in a long time. Is "He" still among us??

I was always in awe of his neat maintenance abilities, and the comprehensive restoration on the car that Craig frequently mentioned. He was always proud to note the good condition of the car's original wiring. DD

I got this message from Old Henry last month, as I also had not seen any of his Posts recently:-
Thanks so much for you message and comments about my travels. After my first trip on Route 66 in 2011, I made a "bucket list" of all of the places I wanted to drive Old Henry. A couple of years ago I completed my bucket list, came up with a couple more places to drive (Yosemite and Missouri) and that was it. I was done. I still drive Old Henry around town regularly but have nowhere left for a road trip. My wife and I are leaving in a couple of months to serve a full time mission for the church in Hong Kong for 18 months. So, that is currently the focus of our activities - preparing for that. Regards "Old Henry"

I know he is a man of faith but I'd be nervous about going to Hong Kong right now. Hoping for a safe mission for him and his wife.

With the pandemic, they might not even let an American in.

Although it may not make sense to some and may not agree. Being a man of faith he would believe our time on earth is temporal and the best is yet to come.

“And fear not them(or what) which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.” Mathew 10:28

Had the pleasure of meeting him a couple of years ago when he and his wife were traveling thru on I-84. Had a very nice visit. He is a super individual which is well represented with all the videos he gave us to enjoy. Go in peace my friend!!

The Chinese government is not very friendly to religious people, especially Christians. Adding to the turmoil there now, it is not a very good place to go to.

God Speed "Old Henry" We will be keeping y'all in our thoughts and prayers while you do mission work in China. Don't forget about your Ford barn friends while you're over there.
China is a beautiful land and its people are wonderful. Their government sucks big time, however. (We have three beautiful granddaughters from there now 16,14,7) They live in Texas.
