The average wait would be long enough that a person could likely tool up and pound out their own pieces in a lot less time than waiting for an unreliable source. Sources come and go but demand is what sparks someone to step up to the plate. I was fortunate to find sources that would fabricate pieces for my 51 Mercs. Bradley never went there so I've never had the wait that some folks describe. I've since tooled up to do my own stuff using one time plywood dies but they work fine for a single part run. Getting the steel top table and forming tools was one of the hard parts. The other was finding the correct steel to work with. Anything is possible for those that refuse to give up.

Why not contact the National Woodie Club or some of the people who build the wood bodies. I suspect they may have some sources.

Just for your info I'm the one that asked you to remove that remark from the Early Ford V-8 Club website. I felt it was an inappropriate comment for a family oriented website. They do get ladies and younger people who do visit that site. Interestingly I got a PM from someone who is frequently on this site also who felt it was an inappropriate remark. I did thank you for removing it, if you care to read my response.

My late dad and grandfather were of a tougher lot of men than I run into these days. One born 1909 the other in 1933.
I learned all I could from both of them. "Leaving your feelings at your vehicle" when going to work and "your not responsible for what other people think" being two great quotes that resonate today.
It's a great life if we don't weaken. Remember that one?
They liked these old vehicals too. Driving them, working on them. That's been carried on too.
I'm going to keep on liking these, working on these and learning about these vehicals.

I’ve still got that donor 48 woody. If any of the original floor is usable for you, and you can handle the logistics, it’s yours. I’ll even help cut it out.

Appreciate the offer but the 40 floor pan is a different stamping than the 46-48. Maybe next year we can get back up there again if this mandatory quarantine is over.

Funny, 'cuz that might just be a good way of thinking about it. It has been agonizingly-explained here, over and over and over again that Mr. Bradley has always loosely adhered to an unorthodox and sometimes over-optimistic delivery schedule, unreliable communication practices, and overall unpredictable methods of running his business, not to mention that he has been showing signs of closing-up shop for some time now, and it has also been made clear (none of this is 'new' subject matter in these pages) that his mom has been ill and that his full attention has been with her for over a year now (quite admirable of a son). Yet someone continues to ask over and over again....ARE WE AT WALLY-WORLD YET? Hence, the mention of that poor old nag that succumbed to the repetitious pressure for yet again, a DIFFERENT answer to the same old question. Even 'encouraging' the poor old pony with a stick can't make him come-up with a different answer. And from there, things sort of digressed to a point somewhat removed from the 'estimated time of arrival at Wally-World'. Ironically, didn't Wally-World end-up with the doors closed and locked for good? DD

Philip, the Paul Bradley topic has a long list of threads, including at least 2 others by you. I've been in your shoes and finally accepted the fact that I wasn't going to get another set of his pans no longer how long I waited. Look at this thread on some other floor pans that became available in the meen time. They are nowhere near Bradley's dads quality when he was still making and 'actually supplying" them, But I was able to get them. I have yet to see anything else out there. They were good enough for me to work with for mt phaeton, but still required a lot of work.
