Default Washington State upholstery shop?

I have a 1930 Ford Cabriolet. I need an experienced upholsterer shop for interior and top. Have all LeBaron Bonney materials. Just need someone qualified and experienced with some time available. I am in Spokane and can trailer the car somewhere in state or close by.

I was hoping to get it done in time for the MAFCA show in Belleview this year. All ideas welcome.

Thanks,
Kim

Contact someone in the Evergreen club in Seattle.
There was a guy there that did very good work.

I would contact Arlyn Bieber first and ask him who did his. I also would contact Marco Tahtaras to see if he would do it. I am sure you know that someone who is unexperienced in that can turn your materials into scrap faster than you can blink your eyes.

Kim...sure wish I could help you out. Just installed a LB kit in Mike Thoe's Cabbie last year after I finished my 30 Tudor. Unfortunately I'm pretty much permanently disabled. If you were here on the west side I could have coached you. Hope to see you and your car in Bellevue. TB

It's a long ways from you, though Russell's upholstery does very good work. Local hot rodders and restorers go there. A one-man operation located next to his home.

There's a guy in Mt Vernon that worked for Steve's Auto Resto. in Portland several yrs. ago & now has a shop in Mt. Vernon Wa.. He does Pebble Beach quality work. But heard he's exp. & has a long waiting list. Murry Motors in Monroe Wa. only use him & they do some of the top resto's in the country. If my memory serves me the guys name is Paul Rieckland (sp)

Thanks, and best wishes Tacoma Bob. My daughter lives in Tacoma. Nice location. This car fights me at every possibility, that is why she is called Pandora. I fix a taillight connection, and while I am at it a headlight bulb burns out. One step forward, one back.

I may try to do this myself, but it will not be easy or pretty. Not sure I will be able to be ready for the show, but it will be a real long time before another one is nearby.

Thanks! Another shop to consider in Bremerton is Scott Boys. NICE work. If you come to visit your daughter look us up. We are in University Place. (Suburb)
