I've met some of the best people from all over the country and a few places down under as well.
5 years ago I was totally down and out emotionally for a variety of reasons. John Mason called me from out of the blue and invited me to TROG in Pismo Beach and the Western Meet in Bakersfield. We had the time of out life and better therapy than any couch could give me.
As Frank said. If you join, get involved by attending meets, the membership cost is worth it. I've attended many national meets and I have never been bored for one minute at any of them. I started attending in my early thirties and I'm 41 now. I was one of a few young people there and I've had some of the best times with guys like Frank and John Mason. Plus, taking your V8 Ford to the meet makes it all the more enjoyable.

The above Cover Shot of the Jan/Feb 2022 Issue of V8 Times is from Australia. For those that are not familiar with the three later model Fords in the picture, the centre car is a British Ford Escort, while the ones on either side are Australian AU series Ford Falcons, similar to this one. As I can't see the whole cars, they could be the same model Utility. The AU Falcons were introduced in 1998 and were replaced by the updated BA Series in 2002.

Hi Seth, can't tell you how excited I am to be making plans to attend this year's Early Ford V-8 Club's Eastern National Meet in Franklin Tennessee. Having missed at least four National Meets and two National Tours in the last two years due to the Covid pandemic, I'm really looking forward to seeing everyone again and their old V8 Ford's this June. Should be a great time as usual!!

Some great stories in this issue. The story on Sam King by his dad is a great story of a young V-8er. They live in my town and I have been able to watch this project go from parts to a running V-8 pickup. Nothing better than to see a father/son project come to completion.
