Default Tire size 1937 ford pickup

Tires for my truck are 6.00 16 but I like the big rear and smaller front what are the size that you guys are putting on your trucks . The truck is stock but would like to put bigger tires than stock . Thanks Tom

6:50 x 16" were optional at the factory and really fill the wheel openings nicely. Still stock but with (in my opinion) a better appearance. The 6:50's are about 2" taller and in "real life" about 1" wider.

Don't forget that oversize rear tires will affect the accuracy of the speedometer.

larger tires will also affect the fitment of the spare tire, for whats it's worth. I do like 6.50x16's on pickups.

I run 7.50x16 and 5.50x16 up front
21 stud. 3.78 rear .

I love my 6.50s on my 41. They're older cross ply (bias ply) that are in good condition.

I'm running 6.00 on the front and 7.00 on the rear. 3:78 with a Columbia.
