Default Sand blasting gas tank

I am getting ready to restore the tank in my 30 ccpu.
Can it be sandblasted? Or should I soda blast it? I am assuming soda will take quite a but longer, so stress on my compressor is a concern.

Be sure to plug it up because once there is sand in it, it will not come out unless you cut the thing open!

An industrial hot water washer with degreaser works great cleaning the inside of the tank
