Default B carburetor leak

Recently, I was left along side of the road with a dirty carburetor. After cleaning it with carb cleaner and blowing it out with an air compressor it has my engine running better than ever.
Unfortunately, I have a fuel leak somewhere on the inside of the carburetor, as gas is leaking from the throat of the carb. I replaced all the Zenith B carburetor with new gaskets from Sniders. When I put the car away I always close the in-line valve and run the engine until it quits. Any ideas?

Your float valve is bad or your float level is set to high. Check both.

If your main and cap jets ( the two sticking up in the middle of the carb) don’t have a concave tip, then capillary action will cause them to leak. By the way, you didn’t say when it leaked.? When it’s off and the fuel shut off is off.
