I was wondering if anyone knew what years that Ford stamped the ford oval in their rear bumpers? I have seen hem in 46 bumpers, but I also used to have a 41 Deluxe that had a ford stamped bumper.

The 41 did a the Ford script but no oval around the Ford. 42 & 46 had Ford with the oval around it.

Early 1947 would of had the bumpers also. The gravel guard and bumper brackets(irons) were different from late 1947 and 1948.

We have a 32 bumper that is stamped.....On the back side of the bumper

Many years are stamped. 46fatford was wanting the years where the Ford is in the oval.

1941 DeLuxe and Super DeLuxe, and 1942 DeLuxe had script only. 1942 Super DeLuxe and 1946 DeLuxe and Super DeLuxe had script surrounded by an oval. 1947-'48 did not have anything stamped on the rear bumper. Page 2-12 in the V-8 Clubs 1941-1948 Book has a description and drawings of all the bumpers.
