I bought this car at Hershey and wonder if anyone remembers it and has any comments on it. Unusual for so many enthusiasts to be in one place.

Hi Y- I don't know about the gasket. I haven't even seen the car in person yet.

Oh, I see. I was just looking at the pictures in the link that WTSHNN posted and the gas gauge gasket caught my eye the way it covers part of the gauge like it is "slipping' out.

Rob, I wasn't at Hershey, But by the pictures it looks pretty nice. If you got it for the price stated in the post I think you did ok. We all know pictures can be deceiving but it looks good. You''ll be able to have lots of fun detailing the engine to freshen it up. It does have a plastic fan on it but you can decide if thats something to change back to original. I think you got yourself a nice car. Enjoy it , Frank

Thanks Frank! Original paint, 21,000 documented miles, new interior and top in '07. Three owners. I've looked at some restored ones for a but less, but I think the documented history of this one which was first bought by a man at 60 who kept it until he was 90 is good. Anxious to get my hands on it
