Ford used the T-85 starting with the 1949 Lincoln cars. It's a heavy duty 3-speed with the R11 overdrive. Ford used it clear up into the early 70s but the later ones had the nodular case and were referred to as the T-85 R11N. There were several input shafts depending on the application.

What I am trying to determine is the year so I know if it is 6 volt or 12 volt
