We took a ride to Gardiner today to see Walt. He seems to be doing well and in good physical health. He’s got a couple jobs going on in the shop but, he’s not doing the amount of work he used to. They had trouble with two different computers so it doesn’t appear that he’s going to be back on the ‘Barn.
Again, he seems to be doing well and always has a good story to tell....Mark

I'm glad to know he's good.
Sorry he'll not be back on the barn. He'll be missed.

Sorry to hear this news. He told me once he looked forward to checking the Barn every morning. I am glad I got to visit him and hear some of his stories. He has a couple of very cool cars.

Did Walt sound as if he still wanted to get on the Ford Barn if his computer was still working? I'd be willing to get him back in business if he's still interested in using his computer. I've talked to him on the phone a few times years ago, its the least I can do for that amount of questions I asked lol

Maybe we need to start a campaign to get Walt a new laptop? Would be a cheap investment for all the information he's shared with Barn members.

Well I know that from my visits, FB posts, and phone discussions with Walt that his daughter lives right next door and is savvy on the computer and always helped him with his computer (like posting pictures). So let's wait and see if any more info. I will try a call also.

Guys...... there’s more to it than just not having access to a computer....his wife shared some details that I just don’t feel comfortable sharing on a public forum.....I think respecting their privacy is important and would like to let it be.....Thanks.....Mark

I agree with Mark. Walt's wife, Rockie, and I recently exchanged several emails, and she asked me to keep this information private, which I have. So, as Mark also said, please respect their privacy.
