Farmer Fix 1 - 14 Leaf Front Spring for 28 Tudor
Attached is a picture of my front spring; one of many "fixes" my car has acquired over its life. You can see the 4 extra leaves because they are square cut, not notched. I am guessing this was a solution to a weak spring. Strangely enough, the car and frame do sit at the proper height. Nonetheless, I will put a a new front spring on the car in September, but only 10 leaf!

I'm amazed that it's not setting higher in the front.
Over the years with many owners some strange things happen. I would guess you will see an improvement in you ride with new correct spring. How are the shocks, and the rest of the front end? |
