Once again this year the Sooner Model A Club of Oklahoma was invited to the Tulsa Model A Club of Oklahoma's annual picnic. 8 cars made the 150 mile drive up old Rt. 66 to Tulsa. We left early in the morning and the drive could not have been nicer. Great food and great friends made for a great trip. over 24 Model A's were in attendance.

Hey TinCup,

Glad you enjoyed the picnic. As a member of the Tulsa club, I was there too. Our joint activities with the Sooner club, such as the picnic and fall tour, are always a guaranteed great time.

I enjoyed browsing through your pics. I have one small correction for you, though. The pic you have labeled as a 28 Standard Coupe is actually a 28 Special Coupe. I should know, 'cause she's mine!

Hey guys, the Dallas Tx club will be coming up into Tulsa on November
25 - 27 (Leaving the day after Thanksgiving) for a drive down your states Route 66 stretches. We will start in Tulsa and end probably around Elk City or Clinton. We would love to have yall join up with us, even if just for a meal. Spread the word to your clubs and if anybody is interested, let me know.

I have corrected it. I am waiting on Roy to send me who owns the other cars so I can post them as well. I woke up to flat tire and didn't have time to change it so I drove the convertible. We had a great time and we are looking forward to the fall trip.
Arlen, My cousin John Lyle is also in your group. It would be quite a gathering if we could get cars from Tulsa, OKC & Dallas together. I will forward it on to our activity guy and hope we can put something together.
