First drive a club members A that has great brakes with cast iron drums etc.

Now when looking to buy an A drive it.... you now know what good brakes feel and perform. If the car you are looking at falls short, negotiate down the cost of a complete brake rebuild $3000 +

You will be amazed on the number of great looking A's but have poor brakes!
Lipstick on a Pig... heck I bought one... but after $$$$$ I have great brakes that will outlast me!
