Yes that should work also::: set the press on cinder blocks for more extension

Let's not think of this method as being benign. It basically alters an original part which I only do out of desperation and something should be done to prevent the threads from fraying the horn wire. But I was pretty desperate after three days of heating and pounding and getting no where. About that wire, I'd suggest apiece of plastic tubing over it to prevent fraying.
