Default The early Floor board pedal plate

The early floorboard pedal plate, used from sop thru about November 1928 was a rubber piece with a metal insert.

Would anyone have a photo of that metal insert?

Thanks.

Here are a couple of pictures of an original plate. The metal is completely covered by the molded rubber, which makes the entire piece quite stout.

Gary is being modest. Look at the detail pictures of his very early '28 coupe in the Sept-Oct 2019 Model A News. On page 44 is a picture showing the early pedal plate.

An absolutely beautiful car! Congratulations, Gary!
