Default Low end

Hi Gents

Took 39 out today. All stock. Highway no problem. Slow or low rpms car is not running smooth. Runs rough at idle. Moving slow it jerks unless I rpms are up.

Bubba Helmet distro built to 11A maybe 8k on it.

Where should I start to correct?

Maybe float set too high, or debris in the float valve, or fuel pump pressure too high, causing minor flooding at low power. If you smell gasoline when things are getting jerky, that is a dead giveaway. Also look for wet gas around the top of carb.

I agree with Brian-sounds like an idle circuit isn't delivering fuel properly. In addition, worth checking for a vacuum leak.
