Default Help ID'ing and Locating a '37 Big Truck Seal

I'm thinking I should replace this rear seal on the back of the '37 big truck 4 speed transmission?

It appears that it is kinda sandwiched between the transmission and rear crossmember/mount.

I have an orange chassis parts and accessory catalog that shows this diagram and part description. The very last column is for big trucks, so I'm thinking the BB7086 would be what I need??

And then where to get 1?

Or should I just clean it up and reassemble it?

I generally make gaskets when I need them. For that one I'd carefully remove the old one and trace it onto a new piece of gasket material and cut it out using scissors and gasket punches. Wouldn't take more than a few minutes. Punches to make the round holes can be made from tubing if you don't want to buy a set.

I take a certain amount of pride in making things I need rather than buying them. Besides it's much faster than ordering.

About gasket punches. They are real handy to have, and can make life much easier for you in situations like this. I have kind of a funny story about them. I bought my first set of gasket punches from Harbor Freight. I liked them so well that I decided to buy a good set made in the USA. Guess what? The Harbor Freight punches worked better.

The Made in USA ones weren't C S Osborne were they? Those things are
pricey.
