Default What a day!

Went to Rhinebeck, NY swap meet this morning and scored a steering column for $30, starter NOS parts that I needed for $2, lots of small stuff for $3, 6 new tires, tubes, liners etc for $115 ea, then went to CT to look at a running 31 chassis. The guy threw in 2 front fenders, bumper brackets, a cowl, and 2 additional engines for $800! Just got em all unloaded before the wife came home too! Ahhh, what a day! What did you guys find out there today?

Cider Mill: Found an insulator/grommet at Tam's trailer, walked for 4+ hours, legs finally gave out. Met a few barners, stopped by Ken CT but he was busy with a paying customer so I kept going. Some fabulous cars, great food (pricey) and weather. Hoping to make it down to you next week end (probably in my newer car though). Hope you hid all your new possessions before she came home.

This is the best part of "The Hunt"! I have a 3 ton Weaver Auto Crane in the garage now for 6 weeks, she has not said "Whats that thing" yet, so I know she has not yet been in there!

Went to the Lawrence Kansas Swap meet on Saturday morning, picked up several small items for our '57 Chevy coupe project. But the best find was a pair of re-buildable rear fenders for my '30 Tudor sedan. Reasonable prices and great day!
