Default 1931 roadster windshield gasket.

How do the sides and bottom windshield gasket meet? At a 45 degree angle or overlap? I think my dad did this 56 years ago as an overlap.

Thank you 45 degree is what I see. Is 1/4" thick flat glass for windshield hard to find now? I don't want to use 7/32" local installer stocks.
