Hey guys, whats a stock spring put out at the normal installed height in a 21 stud?

What shims would be needed to get the stock spring to 50-60lbs?

Just curious.....

You are going to have to check it in the engine you have. At this late date none are going to be the same let alone factory specs.
An adequate spring pressure checker can be improvised with a drill press and a bathroom scale.

The book calls for 37 to 45 depending on the book.

If I remember right, and I don't remember much anymore, 42# at 2-1/8in. A .060 shim will bring it somewhere around 55#. Walt
