I was wondering if there is a production model of a US made Model A that does not exist today?

I know there were a lot of custom made units especially using commercial cowls but are we missing a representation of any body styles that rolled off a Ford assembly line?

Probably the Travelers Wagon. Only recreations are known to exist.

There are very few actual slant town car deliveries. I know of several originals (10-12, maybe??) but there’s several that are “tributes”, clones, knock-offs, counterfeit ….whatever one wishes to attribute to them.

good eye old blue- I was speaking to a fella from Cali about 2 weeks ago and his quest is to find one of those. Never realized they were that rare. I thought the towncars were rarer, but I was wrong.

I said maybe 10-12 originals, hip shoot! I’ve actually heard 8; I know of 5 personally.
I yield but I thought there were more than one 30 town car deliveries?. Tim Kelly had one(?) I saw one in Atlanta 35 years ago. May not have know enough at that time in discern a clone??
There is a original slant currently being restored but the owner is quite private

This is BS territory so I cannot vouch for the accuracy of this but I have been told 3 Model As were fitted with the new V8 engine for test purposes, then dismantled. I know, I know, they were not a production model but.......

Yeah there ain’t one out there that I know of……not sure where Roy’s went but think it stayed in the south…..

Clem..I’ve only seen one Stand drive and one chassis. Not sure the full van was original production but look good enuff to have been just a redo of original.

The base was shown at a national someplace. I still don't remember how to shift gears in the thing.

Roger Kaufman's Stand Drive Delivery was at the Maffi show several years ago.

1931 Straight Windshield Blind Back Sedan, with only 711 being made, half the Town Car & Town Car Delivery production.

Another one just popped up on Facebook last week in similar condition.

The Elliot Museum in Stuart, Fl has one on display. Like Jim said, Roger's was on display at Gilmore a few Model A Day's ago.

Towncar Deliveries;
There is only one known '30 TCD which was displayed at Model A Day a few years back.

As for '31 S/W TCD's there's a handful of originals plus a few clones/tributes/recreations.

Towncars;
There's the swiss cheese '30 body that has been for sale for multiple years without a buyer.

There's a well known '30 TC that was restored by the late Bob Carini that exists today.

I believe there was at least one other known '30 TC floating around.

Later Model AA's that were factory fitted with Lincoln style wire wheels, used for the funeral trade. With this one, I know of 2. Both in about the same shape.

Just had no idea what I had. This was my first "car" when I was 14 years old.

The late Wendell Townsend also restored a 1930 Town Car back in the 1970’s. I’m not sure where it wound up, but it was not the same one that Bob Cabrini had. Wendell was from the Atlanta area at time.

Both 1930's where part of the Tim Kelly collection. Wendel's car in now in a private collection elsewhere and the Kelly family still owns the remaining '30.
