The slant 3 window Coupe does exist. It was on display at the MAFCA Queen Mary national meet in 1976. I believe that it is still here in SoCal.

That one was built in 1931. There also was an earlier one that was built in 1930 and apparently no longer exists.

I agree, those Town Cars are very scarce. Another one that is hard to come by is the Fridgadare pickups. But there were more of them.

Yup. 1931 only - less than a dozen built and no known survivors.



Equipped with everything the intrepid explorer needed - folding bed, storage chest, overhead water tank (fill spout on roof), folding wash pan, and screens with curtains in the rear. It also had locking doors with roll-up windows in the front ones.

There exists a single, very grainy photo of a slant windshield DeLuxe Pickup. Like the Locke Ness Monster, there have been sightings......

Looking at random blue prints at the Ford Achieves, I found a print for a wiring harness to install Town Car Delivery side lamps on a DeLuxe Pickup.

Amazing hobby that keeps on giving....

When I was daydreaming of cloning a 3 window….
It was noted the rear clip is far different than Model A. More like a 32 which could be since it’s a slant and late in A production

That would be nice! I have 30 years of backlog if I get it all done!! It’s been that way for 20 years. I used to do full resto but have reduced size of projects. And it had been part time until 18 mos ago
And I’m 74! Old legs and back just won’t work like the did at 40!!
If I live and take nothing new….I’ll be 103 when caught up!!

There is/was a 1931 slant windshield in the Wisconsin Automotive Museum in Hartford, Wisconsin. Sign says that it was one of six built for General Electric. I have two grainy photos of it that I took in 2004.

Looking at their website, there is a photo in the Gallery that shows the front of the slant windshield Deluxe Pickup. (https://wisconsinautomuseum.com/showroom-gallery/)

By the way, I should note that this museum is located in the building where Kissel automobiles were manufactured. It is located about 30 miles north of Milwaukee. It is a jewel of a car museum.
