Default 28 tudor carpet

Does a 28 tudor have carpet on the rear seat riser? If so, how is it attached?

I have one on my 28 tudor from a LeBaron Bonney kit. I attached it with double face carpet tape Its been there for several years.

I doubt that the Ford Motor Company had carpet tape. Is carpet on the rear seat riser authentic or not?

My 2c worth; Looking at 'Ford Model A as Henry Built It', there is a complete '28 Tudor 'cutaway' that shows no carpet or covering on 'seat riser'. I have never seen this feature on an original '28-'29 Tudor but Deluxe Tudor for '31 had it. Also seen on deluxe Fordors with carpet on door bottoms. With carpet along bottom panels on these deluxes, carpet also on riser completes right look. The upholstery companies probably just assume it is correct for earlier models.
Has anyone ever come across front or rear carpet in a '29 Tudor.? Some assembly plants must still have had stocks after 1928.

I believe the early 28 Tudor had carpets. My 28 AR body has the original rear floor boards and it appears snaps were used to hold the carpet down. The boards have never been removed and the original seals between the sub frame and boards are in place.

As said, only the '31 Deluxe Tudor had a rear seat heel board carpet. I suspect it was held in place with #8 pan head sheet metal screws.
