Default Tie rod rubbing

Sponsored Links (Register now to hide all advertisements)
I just took the play out of my steering wheel (31 Coupe) and had no problems, the wheel turned fine to each end (car up on stands). I installed a new draglink and when I went to turn the wheels back and forth there was something rubbing. I had trouble locating the problem but it appears that the tie rod is rubbing on a bolt near the radiator, I think it is the motor mount. This happened when I was out of the car turning the wheel. When I got in the car and turned the wheel, no problem.
Any help/thoughts?
Thanks
Mort
