Default Can't identify my Briggs number

Hi,
on my Briggs-Fordor 3-window, I have a Briggs-plate with the number 3732942.

I never found anything about such a number.

What type of car do I have

Thanks for help

If you are referring to your avatar, then you have a 155D for a townsedan. Not sure of the standard body#.

If your car was imported into Switzerland from another country
they might have used that as a Vin tag to match the details on the Title or Paperwork

I think, the title or title number is not important, it's from Denmark.
There is only the Briggs number 3732942.

But: Do you think, I can find any other number on the car ? Till now, I have only seen this Briggs-Plate and the engine number.

Is it possible that engine #3732942 was in the car originally when registered and then was changed later on before you got the car? That happens here a lot, even my car is registered that way. Unfortunately, the only way to find the correct number is to raise the body off of the frame and check there.

I bet that is the original engine and frame number , Sounds right for your car year ,
The engiine number you have now is a 1929 number .

This often happens Ford in the UK had a policy "Drive in the Dealership in the morning and come out in the afternoon with a exchange rebuilt engine"

I was just JOKING about Lawn Mower Engines. BUT, Briggs & Stratton DID make Model A switches & keys.
A Family joke was, "Where's the Lawn Mower KEYS"???-----"OH, they're in the Black, Model A, dummy"!!
