Re: Can't identify my Briggs number
If you are referring to your avatar, then you have a 155D for a townsedan. Not sure of the standard body#.

Re: Can't identify my Briggs number
If your car was imported into Switzerland from another country
they might have used that as a Vin tag to match the details on the Title or Paperwork |

Re: Can't identify my Briggs number
I think, the title or title number is not important, it's from Denmark.
There is only the Briggs number 3732942. But: Do you think, I can find any other number on the car ? Till now, I have only seen this Briggs-Plate and the engine number. Willi |

Re: Can't identify my Briggs number
Check under the floor mat on front passenger side body frame next to the door sill. That the location of the body tag on my '29 Briggs TS.

Re: Can't identify my Briggs number
Is it possible that engine #3732942 was in the car originally when registered and then was changed later on before you got the car? That happens here a lot, even my car is registered that way. Unfortunately, the only way to find the correct number is to raise the body off of the frame and check there.

Re: Can't identify my Briggs number
I bet that is the original engine and frame number , Sounds right for your car year ,
The engiine number you have now is a 1929 number . This often happens Ford in the UK had a policy "Drive in the Dealership in the morning and come out in the afternoon with a exchange rebuilt engine" |
