Re: Need some bolts
Try 1/4-28 UNF. They look like the bolts on a fan hub. I think Ford may have made his own special bolts but, I recall using 1/4-28 bolts.

Re: Need some bolts
They are WAY too long for fan hub bolts. Use your thread gauge on it and see what it is. DUH.

Re: Need some bolts
Looks to me like the back side holes are square like for a carriage bolt. I can't tell what the application is but finding fine thread carriage bolts would be difficult. I bet coarse threads with lock washers and Loctite would suffice.
Ok, I just zoomed in and the holes are round. disregard what I posted. Should be a way to delete a post instead of leaving no text. |

Re: Need some bolts
If it doesn't need to be threaded the whole length a shank bolt might work.

Do you have a lathe? If so, they'd be easy to make.

I did a quick look and didn't find a 12-32 listing.

Re: Need some bolts
Would it be possible to drill and tap those holes for a different size fine threaded bolt

Re: Need some bolts
Your not going to find them anywhere new I can promise! I am having them made currently
You can always tap the hole to a 1/4-28 which in reality isn’t much bigger |

Re: Need some bolts
Sometimes you have to improvise. I have used all thread and then used red loctite to hold a nut on for the head. The nut can also be welded or soldered on. Fastenal can most likely get you what you need.

I've found "unpopular" bolt sizes on eBay.
