Default A-20562 3/8 Hex head bolt

I have about 100+ A-20562 3/8 hex head bolts (1/4-20 x 1/2).

Where the heck do they go on a Model A Ford?

I see them listed in Mick Isbell's Standard Hardware book for Cowl Lights (have never dissasembled Cowl lights) and the light switch on the frame (I surly have not dissasembled that many light switches).

Thanks.

Pluck

Parts book says that they're for the radiator rod retainer on the dash.

Maybe cab corners on 1928-29 CCPU. They use the 3/8" head, not sure
about the length.

Actually guys, I am perty sure that most came from the gas tank attachment to the firewall which took 8 of these bolts.

I say this because my February 1929 Tudor and my September 1929 Standard Coupe both have this 1/2 inch long bolt along with square nuts to attach.

With all the gas tanks I have and have had...it only makes sence...I think.

Are there others out there?

Yes. Gas tank to fire wall on 28-9. Heads on top. Also front fender to running board splash apron takes a few. Heads facing out.
