Default MTFCofA forum

What’s going on with them?

I have been a member for years, registered for the new forum, and used the new forum numerous times.
Now it dosen’t recognize my username and password.
I am not a computer newbie or forgetful about my credentials.
Have they lost their minds or just having a problem.

FYI I have no problem with a bunch of other forums.
Are they trying to drive people away?

I signed up and it said I would get an e-mail to confirm, but I never got one. I tried again today. Problems with new software rollout, most likely.

Try going to the "sticky" at the top called New member guide to the forums" If you scroll down to a link that says ...Click here to go to LOGIN to the NEW FORUM Login if already Registered & try logging on that way, it may help. I was having issues myself & that cured the problem. The other suggestion would be to clear the cookies from the site & try again.
The only issue I have now is I have to log in every time as it will not remember me even though I click the "remember me" box

God Bless
Bill

Open the page as a guest. At the very bottom there is a Clear Cookies, click on it and follow the prompts.

Then open this page, it is the "sticky" Bill's was talking about;
https://www.modeltfordclubofamerica.....php?f=2&t=730

From the number posting just today, no not trying to drive anyone away. I myself have had no issues except when the site was down to correct some problems with the new host.

If you have Bookmarked the address you may need to clear and reset.

From what I have read over there, "Admin Jeff" is busting his butt trying to fix all the little glitches that come with a forum change like this. Make NO mistake this is a major upgrade from the old one. They are making it better, NOT trying to drive anyone away.

God Bless
Bill

It took a bit of work to get settled in with new site but I agree now that I have spent some time using it, much better than the old (prefer the Barn format). Both sites are very helpful, lot of good people.

First off I'll say I prefer this site to the new MTFCA Forum BUT an update was definitely needed so it is what it is. Getting an avitar was a heck of a problem for me but posting pictures is a breeze as there's no shrinking involved as it was with the avitar pic. As here I have to log in every time I want to post.

They seem to be following the format of the old site where they only have one basic forum. It gets a bit confusing with discussions all in the same barrel but it is better than the previous software.

My issue is somewhat fixed. I had to change the browser on my iPad from Safari to Chrome. At least I can still harass T people - I mean discuss Model Ts on my iPad now.

It's all working good for me now after a few glitches. I got some pictures loaded to the Gallery tonight. I'm liking it.

It now works with both browsers.
They are working hard to get it going.

The volume of posts seem to have dropped - let's hope people get active again.
