'47 Super Deluxe V8 Distributor
There is a screw sitting on top of my distributor that appears to be some kind of an adjustment screw. I noticed it when I was installing the fan and did not want to use it to pry the fan up to get tension on the belt. Anyway, can someone tell me what that screw is for? Thought maybe it might be for timing or something like that.

dw,
It is an adjuster for the vacuum operated 'brake' of your distributor, you were right in not using it to pry against. Charlie ny |
