I bought a couple and may buy a few more. Probably the only way I'll ever have a chance to have a 1940 Ford! Great cause and reasonable odds, I like it!

Is this the same '40 that was being raffled at Louisville (street rod nationals) and Bowling Green KY (Goodguys) last year?

Hi Everyone, I bought ten tickets for the car, and the two books mentioned in the most recent Foundation newsletter. Then I gave some money to the general fund.

I say buy a bunch and buy them early. That way we'll find out the outcome sooner!

Take another look at this great 1940 Ford Deluxe Coupe that has been donated to the Early Ford V8 Foundation to help raise funds for the planned Extension. It is one beautiful old Ford V8.

O.K guys here's some further info on the '40 business (opera) coupe. It's an older frame off restoration of a touring quality car. Converted to 12 volts (alternator) with all new wiring and fuse panel hidden in the left cowl panel. A strong and cool running flathead (new 94 carb) with 3.78 rear gears. Tube shocks at all four corners and sway bars front and back. The front is a little lower by using a reversed leaf eye spring. 15" wheels with big and little bias belted wide whites. The spare is a brand new WWW that still has the tag on the tire. Inside the seats have the original upholstery. The headliner/windlace and all panels (kick, door, quarter and back panels) are new from Lebaron -Bonney. Insulation was installed in the roof and quarters prior to the new panels being installed. There is also new carpet on the rear floor. All new window channels etc. There's a lengthy list of what has been done to the car and the list will be given to the winner.
If everyone buys two tickets the odds drop to one chance in 2000. If everyone buys 4 tickets the odds drop to one in 1000. You can't get those odds at Powerball or a casino. Everyone who buys a ticket is supporting the V-8 Foundation and will be helping to build the new building and help to preserve V-8 history in the Foundation Museum.
