Default Delivery Door and rear body do not align correctly.

My delivery until yesterday was aligned perfectly. After driving for 3-4 hours I noticed the rear door no longer aligns properly with the door opening. The latch handle is about 1 inch lower than normal. I hit no potholes, just normal drivng on twisty roads. How do I best realign and what do I need to tighten to prevent this in the future.

I am assuming this a 130B delivery and not a Panel Delivery. The rear door is a wooden structure with sheetmetal nailed to it. It has 3 strengthening plates behind the upholstered panel. I am going to guess that you are seeing the results of deteriorated wood where the joints are no longer tight. Without seeing/knowing first-hand the issue, there is no way to give you the proper fix.

Brent is right. My Panel Delivery is all wood supported in the back as well. Start looking for rotted wood support members

It is a heavy door and the hinges are not “beefy” enough to adequately support it.
If you have to re-work consider lightening by holes in main cross wood, etc
Been there done that

Here is a picture of the rear door frame for the Deluxe Delivery that I'm restoring. I used hard maple lumber and used mortise and tenon joints wherever possible along with screws. I removed as much wood as I could so as to lighten the door weight. I didn't have any old frame wood to use as patterns so it is strictly my own design and I'm crossing my fingers that everything aligns when assembled. I can't figure out how to attach a picture of the frame here. Send me an email address and I'll send the picture. Coatesville,PA

I have recently revived a Facebook page that actually got its start before the Internet! Back in the 1970's a bunch of us with Model A Panel trucks started tracking as many as we could find around the world by snail-mail. Some from that group started a Facebook page but, eventually other things got in the way and it was abandoned. If you're on Facebook please join us at "Ford Model A Panel Trucks".
