Way to go Craig!!! One day at a time is how we do most anything. Keep up the GREAT work. It's a struggle, but the battle can be won. 15 years for me smoke free.

I'm very impressed. Think about how many days that means you've been sober. Lots of THUMBS UP.

Hi malpais; Pete's a friend of mine and meant what he wrote in a good way, it's just sometimes words read differently to some of us. Thanks, Craig.

My last drink was on Mar 17 1986 and I can tell you, it was flathead fords that helped me out of the bottle. Craig, I'm with you all the way.
Take care.

It takes a big man to admit something has become a problem and
take action to rid his life and those around him of that.
Congrats.

Congrats and good luck!
Now if someone could just help me with this old Ford problem I seem to have. Out in the dirty driveway all day, up in the filthy garage all night. Always late for work, spending all my damn money on rusty parts and weird old tools...I'm sick!
Actually- thanks to the hobby and the barn for keeping me off the mean streets of Boulder, I used to be in the bar all the time, now I'm too tired from wrenching' all day, best midlife crisis may family could ask for!

Congratulations on staying sober. Your liver is a very important organ, and NOS parts are not easy to find.
God Bless you

Congrats Craig. The only way to quit is to admit to a problem and want to quit. Guys would be amazed to know how many members of the "Quitters Club" there are on the forum. One day at a time.

WELL it is a FACT what Craig has done is something to be very proud of.
And as a Barn Famly (no I in family ) member, he is letting us know that for those of us that struggle in there own ways that it can be done 1 day at a time.

Craig congratulations

Spring is around the corner so take a ride to the local ( old terminology )
drive inn & have a soda for us well wishers.

Congratulations to you, Craig! I can't imagine the struggle it's been for you but you've certainly earned the right to be very proud of yourself. You are an inspiration to so many!

It's off-topic but very relevant as some Ford Barners would not be enjoying the best things in life if they hadn't found a way to kick a destructive addiction. I know how difficult this can be - I quit drinking in 2001. Several of my former drinking buddies are dead from the same thing. Since then I've found the time to once again work on classic cars and my career is in high gear.

Some repro parts just don't fit or work right. Liver, brain, etc.

Craig, thank you for sharing.

Ken
